Dear Students,
Be creative as you finish #3-#4 on your individual poem. Also, make finishing touches on your colored draft of your "Stop the Drip" poster. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read poetry or realistic fiction book for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Literature Sharing: complete pages 29 & top of 30 by Thursday. Read aloud to parents this weekend.
c. Wordly Wise 18A & B. Write and describe words #1-7.
d. Individual Poem: complete #3 & 4.
e. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and record first score on Kid Biz sheet and class poster.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) complete workbook page 152 #1-10, page 154 #1-11. 2) Finish converting decimals and percents on Skittles handout. Study for Graphing Retest (if you are taking it).
b. Mrs. K: textbook page 427 #1-14 (all).
III. Social Studies
a. Read handout. Complete Part II and III on study guide. Test next week Wednesday.
IV. Science
a. Plant research report due this week Thursday.
V. Other
a. Board of Water Supply: draft of poster due tomorrow.
b. Japanese: complete worksheet #4 and study for Quiz #18.
