Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Tonight, work on your individual Riddle poem. Complete #1 & 2. Also, work on your draft of the Board of Water Supply "Stop the Drip" poster. In your poster, you should show why it is important to stop the drip! The draft is due Wednesday. You can log onto their website to look at previous entries -- www.boardofwatersupply.com

These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read your poetry book for 30 minutes and record pages read. Library tomorrow.
b. Literature Sharing: complete pages 29 & top of 30. Due Thursday. You will read aloud your favorite poem to parents over the weekend.
c. Riddle Poem: complete #1 & #2 on the worksheet.
d. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and record first score on your Kid Biz paper and class poster.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) Make corrections to the Graphing Test and get test folder signed. Due tomorrow. 2) Skittle worksheet -- write amounts of each Skittle color and the fraction equivalents.
b. Mrs. K: study for tomorrow's multiplication and division fractions exam.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: read story about Cincinnatus and complete 5 questions at end of story. Due tomorrow.
b. Science: Riley Whitten and Brendan -- bring $2.00 for Science project.
c. Japanese: finish worksheet 4. Study for Quiz #18 on past, present future handout. Study meanings and Ro-maji.
d. Board of Water Supply: draw and color draft of Stop the Drip poster. Look on website to see examples of previous entries.

Hi Ivy and Danika!
The colored draft of the "Stop the Drip" poster is due this week Wednesday. I will give you the larger size paper on Wednesday. Yes, you will have Science and Social Studies tomorrow.
