Dear Students,
Tomorrow we will be having Math Space Olympics. Please wear covered shoes, comfortable clothing, wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle. You will be participating in a variety of special events such as Asteroid belt (kicking), Shuttle Scuttle (broad jump), Shooting Star (softball throwing), Lunar Lift (lifting) and Sky High (jumping). You will be applying what you have been learning in math such as finding the mean.
These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read Poetry book for 30 minutes and record pages read. Record author and title in your Reading record.
b. Wordly Wise: complete Lesson 15E #1-7. Write words #1-7 5x each. Test on Monday.
c. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles this week and record scores in your Kid Biz sheet. Also record scores on class chart.
d. Making Inferences: finish Scene #3 for your "No Place Like Home" quadrirama. Due Monday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: solve mean, median and mode problems on both sides of worksheet. Show all work.
b. Mrs. K: workbook page 101, Beast and the Burden, signed math test due tomorrow.
III. Social Studies
a. Finish questions #1 and #2 on We the People handout. Due tomorrow.
IV. Other
a. DARE: finish poster. Due next week Thursday.
b. Japanese: complete Shukudai handout. Study for next week Wednesday's Quiz #16 Juyunishi (zodiac animals). Study only the meaning.
c. Christmas performance t-shirt: wash it and return it by Monday.
d. Show parents communication folder.
