Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Isn't it wonderful to be back in school??? Use your creativity as you design and make Panel #3 for "No Place Like Home." These are your assignments for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Read for 30 minutes and record pages read. We will be going to the library tomorrow so bring your books to return to school. Genre is poetry.
b. Wordly Wise #15C & D. Write and describe words #8-15.
c. Kid Biz: read 3 newsarticles this week and record first score in your Kid Biz paper and large poster in class.
d. Reading: typed S-E-E for scene #3 due tomorrow. Panel #3 for Quadrirama is due on Monday.
e. DARE draft of poster due tomorrow.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: create a frequency table and line plot for the data you collected for your survey. Write an explanation on which graph (frequency or line plot) best displays the data. Explain your reasons why.
b. Mrs. K: workbook page 100. Beasts and the Burden worksheet due Friday. Also, signed Fraction test due Friday.
c. Math Self-Assessment: pull evidence (exams and homework), complete assessment sheet and mark evidence. Due tomorrow.

III. Other
a. Japanese: complete Shukudai handout. Study for next week Wednesday's Quiz #16 Juyunishi (zodiac animals). Study only the meaning.
b. Christmas performance t-shirt: wash it and return it by Monday.
