Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Welcome Back! I hope you had a restful break and are ready for the new year. These are your assignments for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Read for 30 minutes and record pages read. The genre this month is poetry. We will be going to the library on Thursday so you can borrow a poetry book then.
b. Wordly Wise: complete Lesson #15A & B. Write and describe words #1-7.
c. Reading "No Place Like Home": read Lesson #3 on Making Inferences. Complete worksheet. Your typed S-E-E will be due on Thursday. Panel #3 due Monday.
d. Reading Self-Assessment: put reading evidence in Organizational binder, complete the Self-Assessment sheet and mark the evidence. Put sheet in front pocket of binder. Due tomorrow!

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: create survey and collect data. If you took the Fraction Division Retest, make corrections on folder paper. Record score in test folder and get folder signed.
b. Mrs. K: complete textbook page 403 #3-11 and workbook page 99.

III. Other
a. Japanese: study for tomorrow's quiz.
b. DARE Poster: finish draft and color it. Due Thursday. (If you turn it in tomorrow, I will give you the poster paper.)
c. Christmas Performance Shirt: have parents wash and return it on Monday.
