Dear Students,
You made very insightful inferences today on your Riddle #1 Poem. Work on solving Riddle #2! Cite the clues you used to make your conclusions. Also, use your creativity as you finish your last Panel #4 for the "No Place Like Home" Quadrirama. Have a fantastic weekend! These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read poetry book for 30 minutes and record pages read. Have parents initial pages read for week #4 (week #1 & 2 was for winter recess) on Reading record and sign homework week #2. (The weeks are different for the Reading record since your read for 2 weeks during the winter break).
b. Wordly Wise: complete Lesson #16E #1-15. Write words #1-15 5x each. Test on Tuesday.
c. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles for this week. Record first score on your Kid Biz paper. You should have a total of 10 entries. Record scores on class poster. Due Tuesday.
d. Riddle Poem #2: make inferences and color picture for S-E-E. Due Tuesday.
e. Quadrirama Panel #4: finish last panel and glue on Scene #4 S-E-E. Due Tuesday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: complete workbook page 23 #5-7 and page 26 #1-5. Show all calculations for page 26.
b. Mrs. K: complete textbook page 409 #2-14 (evens) and workbook page 102 (all).
III. Other
a. Social Studies: We the People Lesson #2 -- complete questions #3-5. Due Tuesday.
b. Science: Bring in 1 gallon plastic milk jug (washed out) and $2.00 by or before Monday January 25th.
c. Japanese: Shukudai -- 1) finish worksheet pages 1 & 2. 2) study for next week Wednesday's Quiz #17. Study class handout (meanings only).
d. Self-Assessment: finish yellow GLO and grade self-assessment. Due Tuesday.
e. Communication folder: show parents and return on Tuesday.

i don't know if you got the last one i sent, my computer went down. i said that i cannot do my type story summary because i turned it in on friday and i cannot do my GLO worksheet because i don't have my Orgazinational binder.
Dear ?,
For the story summary, type it on Tuesday during first and second recess. For the GLO and grade assessment, complete it based upon the effort you put in and the grades you received for the second quarter.
