Dear Students,
Begin typing your final S-E-E for Scene #4. Also, finish writing your descriptive story summary. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read poetry book for 30 minutes and record pages read. Record books read on Literature Sharing Log.
b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles this week and record first score in your Kid Biz paper and class poster.
c. Wordly Wise: complete Lesson #16A & B. Write and describe words #1-7.
d. Making Inferences: a) Type Scene #4 S-E-E. b) Finish writing descriptive story summary. It should be at least 3-4 paragraphs. c) Begin creating Panel #4.
*Typed Scene #4 S-E-E and story summary due Thursday.
**Panel #4 Due next week Tuesday.
e. Writing Self-Assessment: 1) Pull evidence (in this order) and put in Organizational Binder -- Spelling Tests #8-14, Colonial Economies Exam (Social Studies), DARE Essay and Furlough Friday poems. 2) Mark evidence with post-its. 3) Complete yellow Writing Self-Assessment Sheet.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) finish Space Olympics worksheet. Record team member's scores for each event. Total each event's score. Calculate grand total of all events. (show all work on folder paper).
2) workbook page 24 #1-8 and page 25 #1-6. Show all work on folder paper.
b. Mrs. K: finish Space Olympics worksheet.
III. Other
a. Social Studies: complete #1 and #2. Draw colored pictures and use descriptive details.
b. Japanese: complete Shukudai handout. Study for tomorrow's Quiz #16 Juyunishi (zodiac animals). Study only the meaning.
c. Test folder: get it signed and return on Thursday.
d. Book Orders: please turn in all orders tomorrow! :)

Yes, you write it on the Lesson #4 sheet. Remember, you need to have at least 3-4 paragraphs. Indent and use transitions between each paragraph.
Follow the directions I listed on the worksheet. You need to use descriptive details and write what happened in the story in your own words.
