Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Tonight, make the final finishing touches on your DARE poster. Tomorrow, you will voting on the top 5 entries. I hope you enjoyed reading the conclusion of "No Place Like Home." Work on your final S-E-E statements and draw the picture. These are your assignment for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read. We will be going to the Library tomorrow so bring your books to school.
b. Making Inferences Lesson #4: complete everything except story summary. Draw a picture for the S-E-E.
c. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles this week. Complete 5 steps and record the first score on Kid Biz sheet and on our class poster.

II. Math
a. Space Olympics: calculate the mean for your event. Show all work. Multiply the mean by the amount listed for Earth, Moon and Mars and record your scores.

III. Other
a. DARE: final poster due tomorrow. Also turn in draft.
b. Japanese: complete Shukudai handout. Study for next week Wednesday's Quiz #16 Juyunishi (zodiac animals). Study only the meaning.
c. Book Orders: due tomorrow. We need more orders! :)
