Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed sharing your progressfolio today. If you did not read aloud your favorite poem to your parents, please do so tonight. Your Literature Sharing folder is due tomorrow. Please complete pages 29-30 and have a parent complete bottom of page 30. These are your assignments for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and write pages down.
b. Literature Sharing folder due tomorrow.
c. The Kid Who Became President: read Chapters 5 & 6 and complete reading questions. Due tomorrow.
d. Kid Biz: read news article and complete 5 steps. Record scores in your Kid Biz sheet and on class poster.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: create stem-and-leaf plot for last 10 Presidents' ages at the time of inauguration. Calculate mean, median, mode and range. Show all calculations on worksheet or folder paper.
b. Mrs. K.: Measurements due tomorrow.

III. Social Studies
a. Mission Possible project: Finish research and bibliography. Begin typing information. Follow format on the project sheet.
b. Pink Slips: complete all work and get slip signed.
c. Graphing: complete circle, line and double-bar graph on computer.
