Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed your visit today at Jarrett Middle School. I will give you reading questions for Chapters 3 & 4 for the Kid Who Became President tomorrow. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and write down pages read.
b. Wordly Wise: 15A & B. Write and describe for words #1-7.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: check calculations and show your work for your individual event on "Planetary Results" page. Then, add totals for each event on Team Record Sheet. Calculate grand totals for all events. Answer the essential question: based upon your data, which is the best planet to have the 2024 olympics? Use your team's results to support your answer.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: find the median for each event. Create a line graph or bar graph for all 5 events for your team.
III. Other
a. Show parents communication folder.

I gave my math class an entire period to work on getting all of your group data and to make your final calculations. If your assignment is not completed it will be a pink slip.
