Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful Winter Recess and are ready to return to school on Tuesday. This is a recap of what you will need to bring to school and the work that needs to be completed.

I. Language Arts
a. Reading Record: weekly totals for the last 3 weeks. Also, have parents write their initial next to each weekly total.
b. Kid Biz: you should have completed a minimum of 9 entries (3 per week). All scores need to be recorded on Kid Biz sheet. I hope some of you entered the Kid Biz contest and read more than 9 news articles. Winners will be announced later this month.

II. Other
a. DARE: poster needs to be colored and turned in on Tuesday. Make sure your name is written on the back of poster.
b. Test Folder: if you did not turn in your signed test folder, please have your parents sign it and return on Tuesday.
c. Communication folder: show parents contents (handouts) and return empty folder on Tuesdsay.
d. Jarrett Middle School field trip form and money is due this week Thursday.
