Dear Students,
Please have your parents intial the total pages read for last week and sign the homework page that I gave you today. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read. Get total pages read for last week and homework page signed for week #1.
b. Wordly Wise: 14E #8-15. Write words 8-15 5x each. Study for tomorrow's spelling and vocabulary test.
c. Writing: complete story web, plan sheet and 2 different leads for your story.
--Be specific. Create a title (cannot use the title Tuesday), names for of the main characters, etc.
--Write 2 different leads (one paragraph) for your story. You can tell the story from different points of view. Example -- you can share the story from one of the character's point of view (1st person) or from a narrator's point of view (3rd person). Your lead needs to explain when and where your story takes place. Due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz's group: make corrections to Multiplication of Decimals Retest, record score in test folder, and get test folder signed.
b. Mrs. Dela Cruz's and Mrs. Kaneshiro's groups: Show all work on folder paper.
1. On Planetary Results page, find the average of your 3 scores. Add the decimals (line up the decimal points) and divide by 3. Then, multiply your results by the amount shown for Earth, Mars and Moon.
2. Record all of your team's results on Team Record Sheet. Add totals for each event.
3. On Folder paper, answer the following essential question using details from your group's data. Based upon your data, where should the olympics be held in 2024? Explain using details. (Remember, the best place to have the olypmics is a planet that will give you the highest scores!)
III. Other
a. Jarrett Middle School lunch money due tomorrow. (Samuel, Vincent, Nicole and Keely).
b. Book Orders due tomorrow!
c. Hawaiiana: create 10 riddles about Hawaii with answers. Due tomorrow!

i fogot my reading record and my test folder so can i have folder paper and right down my grades and have them sign it?

Make sure that you write down the 2 math grades you received on the Multiplication of Decimals Retest and have your parents sign the sheet with today's date. Also, you need to make corrections to the test on folder paper.
Please check that you have packed everything you need before you leave the classroom.
For the Reading record, they need to sign for week #1 homework and initial how many pages you read last week.
