Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed hearing the first round of stories at our Bare Book story hour. For those students who are presenting tomorrow, please practice your oral presentations tonight!
Get ready to cheer for our basketball team as they play against the teachers tomorrow. The game will start after lunch at 1:00 p.m. If you are participating in tomorrow's game, please remember to wear covered shoes and your basketball or Hokulani shirt. Please bring a large water bottle and wear sunscreen.
Last, we will be practicing for the Aloha Assembly in the morning. Our doors will open early. Girls, you need to tie your hair back tomorrow so bring a hair bush and hair ties. If you are a speaker, please practice your lines. The "back-up" speakers will be practicing first. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Bare Book: rehearse for your oral presentation.
c. Return George Washington Socks book: Sonny, Joseph, Huey, Evan, Kelind, Nicole, Amaya.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: complete algebra worksheet (both sides). Algebra and Percent (equivalent forms -- decimal, fraction, percent) and calculating sales tax test will be on Friday.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: practice worksheet page 152 (don't do problems 4, 5, and 6) and challenge worksheet page 152 (all).
III. Social Studies
a. Study for tomorrow's government exam. Use your study guide.
IV. Other
a. Tony Memory's page (message and colored picture) due tomorrow.
b. Five teacher thank you letters due Friday.
c. Reminders: Return overdue library books: Amaya and Taiana.
