Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed DARE Day. I thought it was really inspiring seeing all of the young and talented dancers, musicians and performers.
Tomorrow, we will have a tennis lesson from 11:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Please wear sunscreen, a hat, covered shoes and bring your water bottle. If you have a tennis racket you may bring it to school tomorrow. If not, the instructions have rackets that you can use. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. George Washington's Socks: read Chapters 19 & 20. Complete reading questions with quality. (Due tomorrow) Test on Chapters 17-20 on Thursday.
c. All About the Author: finish entire story. Write the 3rd middle paragraph and the conclusion. Please follow the criteria sheet. Finish drawing self-portrait.
(Typed story and colored portrait due on Friday).
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: 1) make corrections to Percent retest. 2) Complete algebra worksheet #1-12. 3) record math retest score in test folder and have parent sign it.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: textbook page 627 (all).
III. Other
a. Typed thank you letters to Mom and Dad due Friday.
b. Test folder: record 3 reading tests (Chapters 1-4, 5-8, 9-12) in test folder. Have parent sign folder.
c. Please return all library books.
