Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Please bring a water bottle to school tomorrow. We will be rehearsing in the afternoon. Please ask your parents to return the bottom portion of last week's parent letter indicating how many people will be attending the Aloha Assembly. We are working on the room layout and need to know how many chairs to set up on that day. Each child will have 2 reserved seats in the front of the MPB. Other family members and guests will have a different seating area in back.

These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read for week #8.
b. George Washington's Socks: review chapters 21-23. Study for tomorrow's test. I will be collecting the book tomorrow after the exam.
c. Bare Book: rehearse the story you selected for the oral presentations. Remember to bring your Bare book to school! This is the presentation schedule.
--Wednesday Oral Presentations: Tyler, Evan, Vincent, Joseph, Samuel, Taiana, Sonny, Isaiah, Chase, Kawehi, Kevin, Sagan and Christian.

--Thursday Presentations: Naomi, Keely, Nicole, Nami and Amaya.

--Friday Presentations: Sydni, Hannah, Kelind, Kyle, Huey and Tony.

II. Social Studies
a. Complete study guide. Read handout on the Mayflower Compact and Town meeting for Part II of study guide. Test on Thursday.

III. Other
a. Write your 5 Thank you letters to teachers, faculty, etc. You may write letters to Principal Carganilla, Counsellor Mr. Ishihara and Librarian Mrs. Aoki. Letters due this Friday.
b. Boys: bring your white collared shirt and black pants tomorrow on a hanger.
c. Bring overdue library books to school: Amaya, Samuel, Taiana, Naomi, Evan.
d. Vincent: bring yellow t-shirt to school tomorrow.
