Dear Students,
Way to go Hokulani Basketball team! We enjoyed cheering for you throughout the year. Thank you for always trying your best and for representing our school well. We are proud of you! :)
Tomorrow will be your last practice before Monday's performance for the entire school. Please remember to check and see if you have all of your clothing and necessary materials before you go down to the MPB. You will be taking home your performance clothes (boys--white collared shirt and black pants and girls--kikepa) to be washed, ironed and returned to school on Monday.
Please show your parents your communication folder tonight. You will be taking home your test and Literature Sharing folders tomorrow. Tonight, please complete page 40 in your Literature Sharing folder on the book that you have read this quarter.
These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Bare Book: rehearse for your oral presentation (if you did not make your presentation yet).
c. Literature Sharing folder: complete page 40 on the book you have read this quarter. This is due tomorrow.
*Over the weekend, you will read aloud the Dedication Page and one of your favorite Bare Book stories to your parents. You will complete the top of page 41 and your parents will fill out the bottom part.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: study for tomorrow's algebra (expression, equation, properties, etc.) and percent test (equivalent forms and sales tax). Please review how to calculate sales tax. :)
III. Other
a. Five thank you letters to teachers due tomorrow.
b. Memory Page for Tony: if you did not turn your page in, please complete it tonight. Tomorrow is his last day. If you would like to bring a lei for him, please do so. :)
