Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Congratulations to our Hokulani JPO's who scored a 100% at today's drill competition. We are proud of you!

Also, please wish your mother a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday. When you give her your card, don't forget to tell her how much you appreciate her. :)

On Monday, we will be practicing with Aunty Lynne for the Aloha Assembly. Please bring your water bottle. Have a great weekend! These are today's assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read. Have parents initial total pages read and sign homework page for week #5.
b. BARE book: revise, edit and type 2 poems. Create colored pictures for each poem. Due next week Tuesday.

II. Social Studies
a. Taxation essay: I will return your essays with my teacher feedback on Monday.
For those of you who received your feedback today, begin making revisions to your essays at home. Final typed essay is due next week Friday.

On Wednesday, we will be leaving for the hotel at 10:30 a.m. and we will return on Friday at 11:00 a.m. I will give you time to type your final revised essay in school (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) as long as you have already made the revisions at home.

III. Science
a. Write the subject, materials and procedure for the class hypothesis on eating school lunch after recess. Due Monday.

IV. Other
a. All field trip forms, lei orders and bento orders with approriate payments will be due on Tuesday May 12, 2009.
