Dear Students,
Over the weekend, please share your Organizational binder with a parent. Have your parent complete the top part of the white comment form and you will be completing the bottom part of the form. Also, have your reading record/homework folder signed for the last time (week #9).
On Monday, your Aloha Assembly performance for the school will be at 1:00 p.m. We will be rehearsing in the morning. If you are in the "We Go Gogether" dance, please bring a colorful shirt to wear. Bring all of your performance clothing (including the white t-shirt) on Monday. Make sure it is washed, ironed and on a hanger.
Also, if you have any library books, bring them to school on Monday. Otherwise you will be receiving a bill.
These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: Record total pages read up to Thursday night since you returned all of your library books on Friday. Have a parent initial pages read and sign homework folder for week #9.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #33-36 will be due Monday.
c. Bare book: rehearse the story you will be presenting. Tribe #2, #1, #4 will be presenting on Tuesday.
II. Math
a. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment.
III. Other
a. Social Studies: rehearse your speaking parts. Vinceness and the West, Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris will be presenting on Monday.
b. Organizational Binder: Please share your work samples over the weekend. Have a parent complete the top portion of the comment form and you will be filling the bottom portion of the form. Completed form due Monday.
You don't have to bring back your Organizational binder to school on Monday since this is your last sharing. But please bring your Barebook back to school so I can attach your final writing grade. :)

Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz,
When I did the kidBiz article "Meeting Mercury" I couldn't find "Math".
From,
Takumi
Hi Takumi!
Some of the articles may not have a math question. Indicate this on your Kid Biz sheet. Complete the other steps.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Dear Mrs. DC,
For the colorful shirt for the "We GO Together" dance, could it be like a tie die shirt?
~Erin
Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz,
If you are in couples dance, do you have to bring in the colorful shirt?
From,
Vamika
P.S. Have a great weekend!!!!!!
:)
Hi Erin!
I think that would be okay. Bring it to school on Monday. :)
Also, I did get in touch with Scholastic book clubs today. They will be sending you the book to your home address.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz
Hi Vamika!
Is the couple's dance to the song We Go Together? If so, then you do have to bring in a colorful top.
Have a wonderful weekend too!
Sincerely,
Mrs. D.C>
Dear Mrs. DC,
For the Org. Binder sharing, which form is that? Were we supposed to get it on Friday?
Dear ?
Everyone received it on Friday. It was on my chair and I passed it out. If you didn't get one, complete it on folder paper. On the top part of page, you will be sharing your strengths and areas you are most proud of for the fourth quarter. Then, write some of your goals for middle school. Sign your name and write the date.
On the bottom portion of the form, your parent will write down what they are proud of and some of your strengths. Then, parent will write down what goals he/she hopes you will accomplish in middle school. Parent will sign and date.
Sincerely,
Mrs. D.C.
Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz
For the colorful t-shirt could it be like gray or black or other colors. Does it also have to be plan or can it have designs on it?
From,
Logan
Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz,
The comment form says "goals for next quarter" Do we leave that blank since it's 4th quarter?
Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz,
Does everyone have to bring in a colorful shirt for "We Go Together"?
From,
Takumi
Hi Logan!
It can have designs on it. Aunty Lynne wants it to be colorful.
Sincerely,
Mrs. D.C.
Dear ?
For the part of the comment form that says "Goals for next quarter" cross that out "next quarter" and write "middle school." Write down some goals you would like to accomplish next year. :)
Sincerely,
Mrs. D.C.
Dear Takumi,
I think everyone in "We Go Together" dance needs to bring in a colorful shirt. It can have a design on it.
Sincerely,
Mrs. D.C.
Dear Mrs. DelaCruz,
For social studies presentations, do we need to have a jeopardy or skit? We were making a jeopardy but we couldn't think of anymore questions.
Love,
Kylie :)
