Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Wow! What an incredible performance. Everyone did a fantastic job. We are all very proud of you! This Sunday is Mother's Day. Please tell your mom how much you love and appreciate her. Enjoy your weekend! :)

Also, please check you Kid Biz mailbox. I awarded points for your story summary about the super ferry news article. I will be including your Kid Biz grade towards your fourth quarter reading grade. Do your B-E-S-T! These are your assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. This month's genre is free choice so read a book that really interests you! Have a parent initial total pages read for week #7 and sign your homework folder.

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #25-28 will be due on Monday.

c. Writing: begin writing All About the Author (if you took the project sheet). If you do not have it, begin writing it on Monday. Typed story, self-portrait (you will have to draw and color another one) and typed Table of Contents due Friday May 13th.

II. Math
a. Ms. D.C. 1) correct WB 107 #1-10 (all) and TB 436 #6-26 (evens). 2) complete WB 108 #1-12 (all), WB 109 #1-12 (all).

b. Mrs. K: 1) TB 543 (all) and Worksheet due Monday.

c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: work on your power point, skit or jeopardy. All of this will be due Friday May 13th.

b. Japanese: ? Please let me know what the homework is. :)

c. Communication folder and Test folder: return communication folder and signed test folder on Monday.

d. Borrowed Performance Clothing (boys -- sash, girls -- blouse, kikepa) Return washed and ironed borrowed clothing by Friday May 13th.
