Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
It was wonderful seeing familiar faces at McTeacher's Night yesterday. Thank you for coming. I really appreciated your support! Today, work on your Literature Sharing, All About the Author story and your Social Studies research.

These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. This month's genre is free choice so read a book that really interests you!

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #29-32 will be due next week Monday.

c. Writing: begin writing your All About the Author story. Create an interesting lead and title for your story. Draw a colored self-portrait. Type the Table of Contents for your Bare Book. Due Friday May 13th.

d. Literature Sharing: complete pages 40-41 (top of 41) on the book you are reading now. Over the weekend, you will be reading aloud one of the stories from you Bare Book. Pages 40-41 will be due tomorrow.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. 1) make corrections to TB 450 Sets A, B, C, D, E (evens), WB 113 #1-10 (all) and your Math Geometry Test. 2) Get test signed. 3) Complete 61 #1-15 (all). Show your work. *If you are taking tomorrow's Geometry retest, review and study for test.

b. Mrs. K: 1) complete TB pg. 600 (all).

c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: finish your power point slide show. You will be printing a hard copy of your slide show and will save a copy on Mrs. D.C.'s USB drive. Due this Friday.

b. Borrowed Performance Clothing: wash and iron it. Return it to school on Friday May 13th.

c. Thank you letters: type 2 letters -- one to Mrs. Lezy and the other to your parents. Be specific when you write what you appreciate and are thankful for. Also, draw a picture of the things Mrs. Lezy has done in our classroom at the bottom of the letter. Due tomorrow.

d. Book Orders due Friday.

e. Japanese: letter to Sensei due Monday.

f. Test folder: due Friday.

Hi Aya!
Try to make one on the computer. You can list it by dates. If you cannot make one, show it to the audience. Make sure I have a copy of it because I will be grading it also.
