Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Hurray! You finished the L-A-S-T Hawaii State Assessment! Thank you for giving 100% effort. Tomorrow we will celebrate when we go to the Ice Palace. Please wear covered shoes, warm clothing and bring a jacket. You can bring your own home lunch or bring $10.00 to purchase lunch there.

In the afternoon, we will be having Social Studies and bare book presentations. So, please rehearse your speaking parts tonight. Please have your parents wash all performance clothing. Bring it back to school washed, ironed and on a hanger by Monday.

These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. Please return all library books on tomorrow.

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #33-36 will be due next week Monday.

c. Bare book: rehearse the story you will be presenting. Tribe #2 will be presenting tomorrow.

II. Math
a. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: rehearse your speaking parts. Vinceness and the West, Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris will present tomorrow.

b. Math Self-Assessment sheets: complete the form and mark the evidence.

Hi Michelle!
I hope you are feeling better. Unfortunately, this is the last day to take the Hawaii State Assessment tests. You will not receive a score for this Terra Nova test. However, you have scores for the other Math and Reading exams that you took. Please rest and make sure you eat breakfast in the morning. :)
