Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
I was especially proud of the effort on today's Math Terra Nova. We have only 1 assessment left tomorrow -- the Reading Terra Nova. Do your very B-E-S-T!

We will have Aloha Assembly Dress rehearsal tomorrow morning from 8:15-11:00. Please bring a water bottle. Boys, if you received a white t-shirt from Mrs. Kaneshiro today, make sure you bring it to school tomorrow. You are borrowing it for the Aloha Assembly. You will need it tomorrow for the dress rehearsal.

Also, if anyone would like to share their Bare Book story or essay tomorrow (even if your group is not scheduled to share yet), you are more than welcome to. We will have time after the Reading Terra Nova test. :)

These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. Please return all library books on Friday.

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #33-36 will be due next week Monday.

c. Bare book: rehearse the story you will be presenting. Tribe #2 will present on Friday.

II. Math
a. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: rehearse your speaking parts. Vinceness and the West, Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris will present on Friday. If your group presented, complete the Group Post Assessment sheet. Due tomorrow.

b. Reading and Writing Self-Assessment sheets: complete both forms and mark the evidence. If I have your Bare Book, you can mark the evidence with post-its tomorrow. Forms due tomorrow.
