Dear Students,
Tomorrow is our really big s-h-o-w! Do your best at tomorrow's May Day performance. Remember to smile and have fun! This performance is dedicated to your parents and family. Instead of having one performance on Kanewai field we will be having 2 performances in the MPB. The first one will be at 9:00 a.m. and the second one at 10:30 a.m. Please inform your parents of the time and location changes. Friday morning, check-in first. Girls go to C6 and boys to C5.
Please show your parents your communication folder today. Just a reminder that your final Taxation essay w/picture and your Social Studies research are due tomorrow. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record/homework folder: read free choice book for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #25-28 due next week Monday.
c. Writing: revise and type final taxation essay (which is in your test folder). Draw colored pictures showing 2 main reasons why the colonists were upset with colonial taxation system. Revised and typed story, illustration and original essay w/grade due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to WB 107 #1-10 (all) and TB pg. 436 #6-26 (evens). 2) complete WB 108 #1-12 (all) and WB 109 #1-12 (all).
b. Mrs. K: 1) complete TB pg. 543 (all) and Worksheet due Monday.
c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment.
III. Other
a. Japanese: 1) Study for tomorrow's Quiz #28 on sports related words (8 words). 2) Finish today's worksheet questions #5-10. Due this week Friday.
b. Social Studies: 1) complete research questions and create bibliography page. Due tomorrow.
c. Communication folder and test folder: show it to parents. Get test folder signed. Test folder due Monday.

Yes, you can write out the timeline. Write 2-3 important events before your event and 2-3 important events after your event.
