Dear Students,
We won't have May Day rehearsal in the morning tomorrow. Tonight, please show your parents your test folder and get it signed. These are today's assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. If you did not finish today's news article, please complete it at home. Entries #21-24 due next week Monday.
c. Literature Sharing: read aloud favorite part of book to a parent. Have parent complete bottom of pg. 33. Due Monday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. 1) make corrections to S. area and Volume w/sheet. 2) Complete TB pg. 600 Sets A, B, C, D (all). Show all work and label. 3) Study for tomorrow's exam.
b. Mrs. K: 1) complete IHOP worksheet. 2) Complete Surface Area & Volume worksheet given by Mrs. D.C. (*Aya, I will give you both of these handouts tomorrow. You can turn it in on Friday.)
c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.
III. Other
a. Science: complete thank you letter to Iolani students. Draw colored picture. Due tomorrow.
b. Signed Test folder due tomorrow.
c. Japanese: 1) finish 4 questions on page 2. 2) Study for test: Family (kazoku) -- all 10 words pg. 2)
d. Aloha Assembly Lei money $40 for non-May Day Court students due Friday. Checks should be made payable to Lynne Minamishin.
e. Last Scholastic Book order. Due Friday.

Hi Aya!
I hope you are feeling better. Sorry about not leaving your homework on the counter this afternoon. We had a teacher's meeting right after school and I accidentally left it in my room.
Write just 1 thank you letter and you can address it to Iolani students. Thank them for the lessons they taught you and you can also share what you learned.
For the math IHOP and surface area and volume handouts, I will give it to you tomorrow.
Tomorrow, you will be turning in your Literature sharing folder (pages 31-33 top of 33). Please work on your revisions to your cause and effect essay.
