Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Tonight, I will not be able to respond to your email questions. Mr. Dela Cruz's cousin is coming in from Kauai and will be staying with us.

We will have May Day rehearsal in the morning tomorrow. Please bring a water bottle to school and wear sunscreen.

Show your parents your communication folder. It has important field trip forms and May Day information. Today, please finish your Cause and Effect essay. Also, tomorrow is the deadline for Aloha Assembly lei money (for non-May Day court students) and Scholastic book orders. These are today's assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. May's genre is free choice.

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. If you did not finish today's news article, please complete it at home. Entries #21-24 due next week Monday.

c. Literature Sharing: read aloud favorite part of your realistic fiction book to a parent. Have parent complete bottom of pg. 33. Due Monday.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. 1) make corrections to TB pg. 600 Sets A, B, C, D (all).

b. Mrs. K: 1) complete converting liquids worksheet. 2) make corrections to your Math Review surface area and volume worksheet on folder paper.

III. Other
a. Communication folder: please show it to parents and return folder by Monday.

b. Social Studies: read Revolutionary war events. Number your choices from #1-5. You will be selecting your group event tomorrow.

c. Aloha Assembly lei money (for non-May Day Court students) due tomorrow. $40.00 Make checks payable to Lynne Minamishin. Students that need to submit payment are: Kennan, Kanoa, Justin, Diana, Breann, Jenna, Alyssa, Michelle.

d. Scholastic book orders due tomorrow.

e. Japanese: finish 4 questions on page 2. Study for test --- family (Kazoku). All 10 words pg. 2.
