Dear Students,
Tonight, I will be at an East Coast meeting so I won't be able to answer your inquiries at 7:30 p.m. I will try to check my blog before tonight's meeting.
Tomorrow, we will be rehearsing for May Day from 9:15 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Please wear comfortable clothing and wear sunscreen. Bring bottled water. M.C.'s, you will be reporting to the field at 8:05 a.m. Please get your math homework from a classmate.
Today, finish writing the 2 middle paragraphs and conclusion for your Social Studies essay. Start reviewing for Wednesday's exam.
Also, work on revising your Harris Burdick story. Yearbook cover is due tomorrow. I extended the deadline for Scholastic book orders until tomorrow. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. You should be almost finished with your realistic fiction book.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #17-20 due next week Tuesday.
c. Writing: make final revisions to Harris Burdick story, Riddle and Cinquain poems. Create colored pictures for story and poems. Turn in with original piece w/teacher's grade. Due next week Tuesday. (Begin early and don't procrastinate!)
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to 7 Trapezoid problems.
b. Mrs. K: No homework!
c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.
III. Other
a. Social Studies: finish writing middle paragraphs (2) and the conclusion. Follow the essay criteria sheet. Due tomorrow. Study for Wednesday's exam.
b. Japanese: 1) Quiz #26 on July-December meaning only will be next week Wednesday April 27th. 2) Finish school event worksheet.
c. Lei monies for May Day Court will be due on Thursday. Checks should be made payable to Mrs. Lynne Minamishin.
d. Scholastic Book Orders: I have extended the deadline to tomorrow.
e. Yearbook cover due tomorrow.
