Dear Students,
Thank you for putting forth your best effort this week. Over the weekend, please have your parents sign your test folder. Report cards will go home next week Thursday. These are your weekend assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record/homework folder: read 30 minutes daily and record pages read. Have a parent initial total pages read for week #2 and sign homework folder. Due Monday.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #5-8 due Monday.
c. Idiom Skit Post Assessment: please complete and turn it in today. :)
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to RW136 & PW136 on folder paper. 2) complete WB pg. 137 #1-11 (all). Show all work.
b. Mrs. K: 1) TB pg. 491 #1-4 (all), WB pg. 120 (all).
c. Math Review: complete in math composition book TB pg. 672 #4-20 (evens). Show all work.
d. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment daily.
III. Other
a. Get test folder signed: due Monday.
b. Social Studies Comic Strip: 1) Complete scenes and information for "The Boston Massacre" and "The Boston Tea Party." 2) Draw and color all scenes over the weekend. 3) Make sure all information is written with descriptive details. Due Monday.
c. Science: complete worksheet. Due Monday.
d. Japanese: 1) study for next week Wednesday's quiz on the days of the week. All words and meanings. 2) complete page 1 of today's worksheet.
