Dear Mrs Dela Cruz,
Which page do we have to write our third middle paragraph on?
Thank you,
Kaimana
Hi Kaimana!
Write the third middle paragraph on the "first draft" pages. If you run out of space, then continue writing on folder paper. The first draft pages are in your "Tuesday" project sheet.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Hi Mrs. DC!
For Social Studies, when is the power Point project due? I'm doing the title page right now and i need to know when its due.
~Erin
Hi Erin!
That's great that you are working on your power point slides. :) Put the due date Tuesday September 28, 2010. Although the power point slideshow will be due this coming Friday, oral presentations will begin on September 28th.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Dear Mrs.Dela Cruz,
This is Corey. I was going to ask two things. The first thing was that if we could or could not put a transistion in our slides and sound? My second question was if the bibliography was also due on Monday?
Have a nice weekend!
Corey
Dear Mrs.Dela Cruz,
What is the decimal sheet?
From Breann
Mrs. DC,
SO for the Power point, it has to be done by Friday, but we present it on the 28th?
~Erin
Hi Corey!
You can include transitions after each slide but keep it simple. No "machine gun" words where it appears one at a time! Please do not put any sound on your slide show. It will distract the audience.
On Monday, you and your group can combine your sources for the bibliography page. You can work typing your sources and then have your group members add theirs to your bibliography page.
We will be having Social studies tomorrow. I will be giving you a checklist which shows what informaiton is needed on each slide.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Hi Breann!
The decimal worksheet is the one where you had to color in the grid. You also had to write the decimal in expanded form and word form. Make corrections on folder paper.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Hi Erin!
Yes, the power point will be due on Friday. The following week, you and your group will begin rehearsing for the oral presentation. You can create a short skit and create props. Everyone in the group should memorize their speaking parts.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Dear Mrs.Dela Cruz,
Is our worksheet going to be turned into you and then you give it back or are we going to combine all our information together in our groups?
Thanks,
Corey
Hi Corey!
I will be checking with each group to make sure everyone conducted research on the explorer. Tomorrow, you can combine information and assign certain slides to your group members. The slides should be evenly distributed. I recommend, however, that "What was found, the value of exploration" and Bibliography page should be done as a group.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
