Dear Students,
Tomorrow, I will give you time in class to type your final "All About Me" story. Please finish editing and revising your stories tonight.
This month's genre is Science Fiction. I will be taking you to the library tomorrow morning. Mrs. Aoki will explain the genre and you will have a chance to borrow Science fiction books. :)
Don't forget -- we will have P.E. tomorrow and Friday so wear covered shoes! These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Wordly Wise: In workbook, complete Lesson 4E #1-7. In composition book, write words 1-7 5x each. Test on Friday.
c. Reading "The Kid Who Ran for President": Complete Chapter 4 questions #4-6, draw and color S-E-E picture, and underline the response. (Due tomorrow)
d. Writing: read over my comments. Revise and edit story. I will give you time to type the final story tomorrow and Friday. (Due next week Tuesday)
e. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record information on Kid Biz sheet.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: on folder paper, make corrections to "Ants" 10-step and to Chapter 1 test. Record test grade in test folder and get folder signed. (Due tomorrow) Retest for Chapter 1 Friday.
b. Mrs. K: TB page 17 #1-15 (all). (Due tomorrow)
III. Other
a. Japanese: 1) Study for Quiz #2 -- meaning only. Greeting
Chart #10-18. 2) Color the color chart. (Due next week Wednesday)
b. Test folder: record Wordly Wise and Reading tests and get test folder signed. Due Friday.
c. DARE: My Warning page 10 due Friday.
d. Scholastic Book orders due Friday.

Hi Toni!
Tomorrow, your group will be selecting an explorer to research. Find out what the explorer's name is. Your group can either split up the questions or complete of the questions individually. If you answer all of the questions, when you return, you will be combining your answers together with theirs.
Try to find information on the areas via the internet. You can also use your Social Studies textbook as a resource. I will be posting websites and short video clips that you can use as sources.
If you have any questions, post your questions on my blog. Try to begin the research part of the project.
