Dear Students,
Please show your parents the Federal Survey card. Have your parent complete and sign the card in ink. Return completed form tomorrow.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is picture taking day -- please wear nice clothing. JPO's and Student Council will take their group photos at 9:45 a.m. C-5 class photos will be taken at 1:00 p.m. Also, if you did not turn in your picture taking order envelope, please turn it in tomorrow. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read 30 minutes and record pages read. Record book information in Literature Sharing folder under Science Fiction.
b. Reading: complete Chapter 6 questions, including S-E-E. Also, For S-E-E, underline parts of the prompt and color S-E-E picture. (Reading questions due tomorrow) Create a catchy phrase the promotes Judson running for president. Draw your slogan and picture(s) on the white paper I gave you today. "Slogan" poster due on Friday.
c. Wordly Wise: complete "Hidden Message" on page 32, 5C & 5D in workbook. in composition book, write and describe words #8-15. (Due tomorrow)
d. Writing: complete Story Plan sheet. Write title and lead on first draft page. (Due tomorrow)
e. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record information on Kid Biz sheet. (entries #8 and #9) due next week Monday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) Make corrections to workbook page 6 on folder paper. 2) Complete textbook page 23 #2-20 (evens).
b. Mrs. K: TB page 24 #8-10 (all) and worksheet.
III. Other
a. Social Studies: finish research questions. (Due Friday)
b. Test folder: have parents review and sign folder. (Due tomorrow)
c. DARE: complete page 13 (all) and Lesson 29 Planner notes. (Due Friday)
d. Japanese: study for next week Wednesday's Quiz #3 -- chart #1-10 meaning only. Finish worksheet #2. Color Let's Design Flag.
e. Scholastic Book Orders: Due Friday.
