Dear Students,
We will be practicing tomorrow morning for Cultural Day. Bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and dress comfortably. Girls, remember to bring home your blouse and skirt today for ironing. Return the items with your black leggings tomorrow on a hanger. Boys, remember to bring to school your dark colored shorts. All clothing should be labeled.
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and write pages down. Begin filling out pages 37-39 for your Literature Sharing folder. You will be sharing your Science fiction book this weekend with your parents.
b. George Washington's Socks: test on Chapters 5-8 will be on Wednesday* (new date).
c. Bare Book: a) Revise and edit Going green essay. b) Find current facts on the problems earth is facing. c) Begin drawing colored picture. (Typed story and picture due Friday.) *Keely, Nicole, Kawehi and Amaya -- I can give you feedback on your first draft tomorrow.
II. Social Studies
a. Outline is due tomorrow on taxation essay.
III. Science
a. Light presentation due next week Tuesday.

For the Literature Sharing, complete the pages by this Wednesday. This weekend, you will be sharing your book with your parents.
Also, don't forget to print out another copy of your Going green essay, get your reading record signed for week #3 and tota pages read. :)
