Dear Students,
Tomorrow we will be celebrating Earth Day. Please wear green. As a community service project, we will help pick up trash around Kanewai and between our school buildings. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read. You need to finish reading your Science fiction book by next weekend.
b. George Washington's Socks: review for tomorrow's Chapter 1-4 test.
c. Bare Book: finish revising and start typing your Persuasive essay. Final typed essay and colored illustration due Friday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: make corrections to page 153. Complete Reteach page 154.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: complete textbook page 600 (all).
III. Other
a. Japanese conversation test next week Tuesday.
b. Rehearsal letter to parents due tomorrow.
c. Field trip money and form due Thursday: Isaiah, Evan, Sagan, Samuel, Christian, Kelind, Taiana, Nicole and Amaya.

Yes, you can put photos on the picture page for the "Going Green" Essay. Make sure you include captions below each picture that explains what you are doing. :)
Transition day will be a field trip to the Neil Blaisdell Center. It is an orientation program that prepares students for middle school. There will be some celebrities there also. All of the 5th graders who will be attending Middle School next year will be there.
