Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Tonight, I will be assisting with Science night so I won't be able to respond to your blog questions. I did enjoy hearing the clues you wrote for your group's "What Am I?" poems. Work on writing your own poem tonight. :)

These are your assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read poem for 30 minutes and record pages read. I will be taking you to the library tomorrow morning.

b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #10-12 due next week Monday.

c. Literature Sharing: pages 29a, 29b and top of 30 due tomorrow. You will be reading aloud one of the poems you have read to your parents on the weekend.

d. Writing: complete #1-3 on "What Am I?" poetry handout. Due tomorrow.

e. Wordly Wise: complete 18A & 18B. Write and describe words #1-7.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to TB pg. 626. Due tomorrow.

b. Mrs. K: 1) complete TB pg. 361 #1-9 (all), WB pg. 88 (all).

III. Other
a. Social Studies: complete Part B on study guide. For Part A, add more information. You can also review the answers previously written in Part A and make corrections. Test next week Friday.

b. Japanese: 1) Study handout about occupation -- Meanings 8-13. 2) Finish worksheet #3 Shokugyou (occupation) both pages 1 and 2. Due tomorrow.
