Dear Students,
Please show your parents the Newsletter from Dr. Ramos and the Jarrett Middle School lunch envelope. Please turn in your lunch money by this week Thursday. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #7-9 due next week Monday.
c. Wordly Wise: complete crossword on page 132. Due tomorrow.
d. Explicit and Implied Information: review the "The Present" handout. You will have a quiz #2 on Explicit and Implied information tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: 1) make corrections to PW148. 2) complete PW 149 #-1-16 (all). For #7-12 and #14-16, tell if the ratios are equivalent and the reasons why.
b. Mrs. K: complete WB pg. 79 & 81 (all). Study for tomorrow's quiz.
c. XtraMath: take an assessment test. Class code is RXND8F.
III. Other
a. Writing Self -Assessment and GLO & Grade Self-Assessment: complete and turn in tomorrow. Please mark strengths with yellow post-its and areas to improve on with blue post-its.
b. Japanese: study for tomorrow's Quiz on Shokuyuou handout. #1-6 meanings only.
c. Jarrett Middle School Lunch Money: due Thursday.
