Dear Students,
I hope you enjoyed your Fall break. Tomorrow, we will begin our P.E. sessions with U.H. Athletes. It will be on Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Please wear covered shoes and bring a water bottle.
Make sure you have completed all of your Fall Break assignments. The criteria for Hale Koa (not more than 4 pink slips and no referrals) begins tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. For reading record, total pages read for week #9 (yellow sheet) and the first week of fall recess (purple sheet). Have parents initial total pages read for both weeks. For homework folder, get week #9 signed. Due Tuesday October 12th.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record entries #1-4 on purple Kid Biz paper. Due Tuesday October 12th.
c. Literature Sharing: read aloud favorite part of Science fiction book and have a parent complete bottom of pg. 39. Due Tuesday October 12th.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: No homework! :)
b. Mrs. K: 1) Complete 10-step Road Trip handout (all steps). 2) Make corrections to quiz on folder paper. 3) Get quiz signed. Due Tuesday October 12th.
III. Other
a. Fire Safety Guide: finish all pages by Friday October 15th.
b. DARE: Planner Notes #7 pg. 31. Make sure all pages are completed (with quality) up to Lesson 7.
c. Japanese: when you return, Quiz #6 will be on school subjects #6-11. Meaning only. Finish worksheet #2 on school subjects.
d. Communication folder: show parents handouts. Return empty folder on October 12th.

I hope you had a great time in Las vegas and I know I did!Any way can I color the fire fighters safety guide the whole booklet if I want to with a highlighter or should I just use crayon or markers or should I use any types of materials.

P.E. will be once a week for one hour! Each week, different athletes will visit such as football, volleyball, track, cheerleaders, etc. If you go to the games, you may recognize some of them! It is exciting!
