Dear Students,
I hope you had a fun and restful Veteran's Day holiday. Tomorrow, we will be going over important information regarding our upcoming Camp Erdman trip. I will be relaying this information to your parents in tomorrow's parent letter. Please give your parents your communication folder tomorrow evening. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading Record: read 30 minutes daily and record in pages read in your folder.
b. Literature Sharing folder: start filling in the Genre Log and "Record What you Read" and "What I learned" for the non-fiction books you have read (pages 23-25). You will be sharing one of the books with your parents this coming weekend.
c. Making Inferences #3: read the next middle paragraphs. Make inferences and cite supporting evidence. Then, write an S-E-E on the inferences you made. Draw a colored picture showing the details mentioned in your S-E-E. After today, you should have 3 colored pictures and 3 S-E-E responses.
d. Wordly Wise: 9E #1-7. Write words 1-7 5x each.
e. Kid Biz: read and respond to today's news article. Complete 5 steps and record information on yellow Kid Biz paper.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: answer 3 decimals questions on folder paper.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: Textbook page 414 (odds).
IV. Other
a. DARE: make sure you bring your completed book to school. We have DARE on Friday.

do we do all the parts in pages 23 24 and 25?

Hi Vincent!
Thank you for your email. For page 23, start to write down all of the book titles, the author's name and total pages of the books you read so far. For the top portion of the page, you can fill out the setting, plot, etc. for one of the books you have read. On Page 24 and 25, write information down for one of the non-fiction books you have read.
