Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz,
How exactly do you do the 2nd question on the inference worksheet? I didn't hear in class because I was cleaning the fish tank.
Huey
Dear Mrs. Dela Cruz
For the reading assignment, I only have one inference.
Sincerely,
Tyler Curtis
Hi Huey!
Thank you for your question. For the second question, you will be making 5 different inferences about the story. In the first column, you write your inference. In the second column (evidence), quote the exact words or sentences that helped you make the inference. In the third column (explanation), explain how the evidence supports your answer. For example, you can make an inference on who you think the person is in column one (inference). Then, cite examples of words that gave you the clues in the second column. In the third column, explain how the clues helped you conclude who the person is.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)
Hi Tyler!
You can make many inferences from the story. You can share where you think the story is taking place (setting), how the person is feeling, etc. Just remember that you need to find words or sentences that support your inference for the evidence section.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz
