Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
I was really proud of the effort you put into making cranes for the children affected by the Japan earthquake. Next week, we will be starting the coin drive. You can make more than one crane. Please write an encouraging message on each crane that you make. Our school goal is to make 1,000 cranes and to raise $1,000!

Tomorrow, we will be having our 100% homework ice cream party during lunch. If you had 0-3 pink slips, you may join us. :)

Please study for tomorrow's idiom quiz. You will have one bonus question. Also, o-n-e more day before our 4 day weekend! :) These are your assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read.

b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record entries #1-4 on green Kid Biz sheet for 4th Quarter. Due next week Tuesday.

c. Literature sharing: read aloud favorite part of fantasy book to a parent over the weekend. Have a parent complete bottom of page 36. Due Tuesday.

d. Reading: Study for tomorrow's idiom exam. Practice speaking part for skit (if your group did not present yet).

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to Sir Cumference assignment and Math Retest (if you took it). 2) Get Retest signed. 3) complete TB pg. 557 #1-13 (all) and study for tomorrow's test on Perimeter and Circumference.

b. Mrs. K: 1) study for tomorrow's Chapter 21 test. 2) complete TB pg. 475 odds.

c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment.

III. Other
a. Social Studies: finish notes on the chapter covered.

b. Science: Fun Run track paper due tomorrow.

c. Scholastic Book Orders: Due Tuesday March 29th.

d. May Day Clothing: boys need long black pants and white long sleeve buttoned shirt. Girls need white camisole top and half slip. Due Tuesday March 29th.

e. Book Orders: due Tuesday March 29th.

f. DanceMath: complete next level.
