Tomorrow is our the big day -- Hokulani's annual Spring Fling! Please show your parents your communication folder. It has the most updated student and parent work schedule.
Tonight, please finish typing your final first draft of your "No Oil, Oh No" essay. Print out a copy of your essay. Also, work on your Idiom posters.
These are today's assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #26-29 due Monday.
c. Reading: finish idiom posters and rehearse speaking parts. Presentations will be on Tuesday.
d. Writing: complete final draft of your "No Oil, Oh No" essay. Print a hard copy. Due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: 1) correct PW129 and previous corrections. 2) complete Reteach page RW129 #1-6 and Practice workbook page PW129 #1-7. Show work.
b. Mrs. K: 1) complete TB pg. 447 #13-15 and WB pg. 109 (all). Due tomorrow.
c. XtraMath: complete 1 assessment.
III. Other
a. Social Studies: study for Monday's government test.
b. Japanese: finish Hinamatsuri handout and study for quiz on greeting chart page 2.
c. Communication folder: show parents folder tonight.
d. DanceMat: complete next level.

The hard copy means to print out a copy for me. Yes, you will need at least 3 paragraphs. In the beginning, the directions listed the 3 main things that the essay needed to answer.
