Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Tomorrow, you will be taking the Math Hawaii State Assessment. After you finish today's homework, please sleep early. Eat breakfast tomorrow morning. These are your assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. The genre this month is Biography.

b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #13-15 are due Monday.

c. Wordly Wise: complete 19E #1-7. Write words #1-7 5x each.

d. Reading: 1) complete Part I of "No Place Like Home" Lesson #2. Make inferences on the part of the story that is "boxed" in. Due tomorrow. 2) Study for tomorrow's Retest on Explicit and Implied Test #2 (if you received a DP or lower).

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. 1) make corrections to PW156. 2) complete TB pg. 649 #5-23 (odd) and Sales Tax and Discount Worksheet. 3) study for tomorrow's exam on percent.

b. Mrs. K: 1) complete TB pg. 380 (all). Math worksheet due tomorrow. Study for Chapter 17 Test.

III. Other
a. Science: rehearse for tomorrow's Power Point presentations.

b. Signed test folder due Monday.

c. Japanese: study for Quiz #18 Handout #2 -- 3, 4, 6, 11, 22, 28.

d. Book orders due tomorrow.
