Dear Students,
Please finish your literature sharing folder tonight. Also, study for tomorrow's Japanese quiz. You will be turning in your Hiragana worksheet and the colored handout given last week. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read. The genre for December is Myths and Legends.
b. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Entries #19-20 due next week Monday.
c. Literature Sharing folder: completed pages 23-25 (top of 25) due tomorrow. You will be reading aloud to your parents on the weekend.
d. Wordly Wise: complete 14C & 14D. Write and describe #8-15. Due tomorrow. Test on Friday.
e. The Kid Who Ran for President: read rest of Chapter 26. Complete questions #4-6. Color S-E-E picture and underline response. Due tomorrow.
f. Writing: you will be writing a short story on the picture your selected. The story plan sheet and 2 different leads are due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: complete WB pg. 24 #1-6 (all) and WB pg. 25 #1-6 (all). Show all work on folder paper. Due tomorrow.
b. Mrs. K: complete WB pg. 67 (all).
III. Other
a. Japanese: study for quiz on "Let's Introduce" handout #1-6 (meaning only). Hiragana practice and colored half sheet handout is due tomorrow.
b. Science: read and finish taking notes on Science textbook pages 152-153. Color tree worksheet. Due Thursday.
c. Social Studies: Read Colonial Economies worksheet. Complete all questions. On the "The Thirteen British Colonies" worksheet, color the New England colonies red, the Middle Colonies green and the Southern Colonies yellow. Due Thursday.

The bottom of page 25 is due next week Monday. You can, however, share favorite parts of your book early and have less homework. :)
