Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Hurray! We finally finished all of the parent-teacher conferences. Please return your Organizational binders to school if you took it home. These are your weekend assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read 30 minutes and record pages read. The genre this month is non-fiction. Have a parent intital total pages read and sign homework folder for week #4. Due Monday.

b. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and record entries #11-12 on your Kid Biz sheet. Due Monday.

c. Wordly Wise: complete 11E #8-15 and words #8-15 written 5x each. Study for Monday's exam.

d. Reading: study for Monday's exam on Chapters 19-20.

e. Writing: make final revisions. Revisions due Monday. Final Typed persuasive essay due Tuesday.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to WB pgs. 89-90. 2) complete study guide. 3) Study for Monday's exam on adding and subtracting fractions.

b. Mrs. K: complete the following -- get math test signed, make test corrections on folder paper (if you got 7 or more problems wrong), complete test reflection, WB pg. 38 (all), WB pg. 39 #1-4 in composition book. Turkey worksheet due November 18th.

III. Other
a. Signed Test folder: due Monday.

b. Japanese: finish "school" worksheet. Study for Wednesday's Quiz #10 on the "school" handout #1-7 (meaning only).

c. Science: homework due Tuesday.
