Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend! Tomorrow, you will have P.E. with the U.H. athletes. Please wear covered shoes. These are today's assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read for 30 minutes and record pages read.

b. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record entries #19-20 on Kid Biz sheet. Due next week Monday.

c. Literature Sharing: complete pages 23-25 (top of pg. 25). Due Wednesday.

d. Wordly Wise: complete 14A & 14B. Write and describe words #1-7. Due tomorrow.

e. The Kid Who Ran for President: read Chapter 25-26 (pages 136-144) and complete reading questions #1-3. Due tomorrow.

f. Writing: complete story planning sheet and 2 leads for your Harris Burdick story. Due Wednesday.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.'s group: 1) On folder paper, make corrections to Multiplying Fractions test and 10-Step problem. 2) Get test signed. 3) Study for tomorrow's retest if you received a grade of DP or lower.

b. Mrs. K: WB pg. 66 #1-14 (all) and WB pg. 65 #1-6 (all).

III. Other
a. Japanese: 1) study for Wednesday's quiz on "Let's Introduce" handout #1-6 (meaning only). 2) complete 2 handouts -- Hiragana Practice and Color half sheet worksheet.

Yes, you can write the "write and describe" on folder paper. Tomorrow, when you come to school, staple it in your composition book.
