Dear Students,
Tomorrow is our last day of parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for doing a fantastic job in sharing your work samples with your parents. Please finish your DARE homework and essay. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read 30 minutes and record pages read. The genre for this month is non-fiction. I will be taking you to the library on Monday and Mrs. Aoki will go over the next genre with you. You can continue reading a mystery book until then.
b. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record entries #11 and #12 on Kid Biz sheet. Due next week Monday.
c. Wordly Wise: complete 11E #1-7 and write words #1-7 5x each. Due tomorrow.
d. Reading: complete Chapter 20 questions including S-E-E. Underline answer and color S-E-E picture. Due tomorrow. Test on Chapters 19-20 on Monday.
e. Writing: read over comments given on Persusasive essay. Find more information and make final revisions to essay. Revisions are due Monday. Final Typed essay is due on Tuesday.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) on folder paper, make corrections to WB pg. 87. 2) On folder paper, complete WB pg. 89 #1-4 and WB pg. 90 #4-8 (all). Show all work.
b. Mrs. K: 1) complete Talking Turkey handout. Due November 18th.
III. Other
a. Test folder and communication folder: get test folder signed and show parents communication folder.
b. Japanese: finish "school" worksheet. Study for Quiz #10 on "school" handout. #1-7 meaning only.
c. DARE: complete Lesson 8 an Planner notes. Finish writing first draft of DARE essay on folder paper or in book. Due tomorrow.

Dear Mrs DC,
I'm doing dare right now. When you said to do all of lesson eight, there is a part that says to do your rough draft for the dare report, but its different from the questions that we need to answer that were from Officer Liu. It says to write the skills that we learnd in the dare program. Do we do that??? xD :P

Hi Erin!
For the Lesson 8, finish the situations and the planner notes. For the DARE rough draft report, write a paragraph each on the 4 questions officer Liu gave you. Disregard the instructions given that is in the book on "write the skills that we learned." Officer Liu changed the DARE report requirements.
