Dear Mrs. Kaneshiro,

Where do you place your information (name, student number, title, etc) on your organizational binder cover? Where are the specific places they have to be on the paper?

your student,
Michael

Hi Michael,
I think you have the wrong weblog address. This address is Mrs. Dela Cruz's blog. :) For the organizational binder, the title is "Your first name's organizational binder, in the middle is pictures that is school related or shows your hobbies and the bottom is Hokulani Elementary School, Grade 5, Room C-6 (since you are in Mrs. Kaneshiro's class) and school year 2010-2011.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)

Sorry for asking again but did we have to do anything for our homework folder besides making our parents sign and intial the total pages for tomorrow. And do I give you my homework folder if I finish everything so you can stamp it? Oh and tomorrow my mom is going to bring more disinfecting wipes. Do we need anymore since we have at least thirty one

Thanks for your time to answer my questions! Thanks again

Hi Zoe!
Hope you are feeling better. For the reading record, record the pages you have read including Sunday. On Sunday, total the pages. Have one of your parents initial the total pages read and sign the homework folder for week #1. On Monday, I will stamp the area "Work completed" with a 100% homework stamp. (I stamped everyone's folder yesterday).

For the wordly wise, please follow the instructions I gave you on the yellow sheet. Also, glue this paper into your composition book. Yes, make a 3 column chart. Write the title "Wordly Wise Lesson #1." Follow this format -- first column "Word," second column "Definition", third column "Sentence and Picture." Number the vocabulary words on page 1 from 1-15. You will be "writing and describing" the first 7 words. Write the word in the word column. The first one is "accustom." Write the definition in your own words. Then create a sentence using the word (underline the word). Draw a picture showing what the sentence is showing. As you work on this assignment, feel free to ask me questions. I will review this with you on Monday.

Also, don't forget to turn in your Thursday's math assignment and to finish your Organizational binder cover.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

P.S. Tell your mother thank you and that we do have enough disinfectant wipes. :)

Hi Rovi!
Yes, you still log down the pages for the second book in your reading. In the "Title" section of your log, write the second title for your book.

Tomorrow, also write the second book title in your Literature Sharing folder on page 14. Your folder is in the bin near my desk.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)

Dear Mrs.Dela Cruz
For Worldy Wise do we have to color the picture we made for the numbers 1-7. Oh and if we are starting a new book then do we write on the day we are starting it or on the next week. Sorry for all the questions Im sending you.

Thanks so much for your time!

Hi Brendy!
Sorry, I am answering your question well after 7:30 p.m. To go onto Kid Biz, you can use the same passcode as last year. If you forgot, I will be printing everyone's passwords tomorrow. Go onto www.kidbiz3000.com

Also, you can use anime on the cover of your organizational binder.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

Hi Zoe!
Sorry that I am answering your question late tonight. You do not have to color the picture. If you would like to you can. :)

When you start a new book, write the title underneath the one you wrote down for that week. You can add the pages you read for the new book onto to the first book you read for that day.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)

Dear Mrs Dela Cruz,

Do we need to do a specific definition on multiple definition words? I'm just wondering. :D
