Dear Students,
I am looking forward to reading the final versions of your persuasive essays. I will be letting you know which 3 essays I will be submitting for the HEA contest. Don't forget to collect your Fun Run pledges. We only have 6 students who have turned in pledges so far. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read realistic fiction book for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and record first score.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: make corrections to textbook pages 444 and 464. Complete Line of Symmetry worksheet. Test on Friday.
b. Mrs. K: complete crossword worksheet.
III. Social Studies
a. Finish typing your information, bibliography and brochure. Typed poster and brochure due Friday.
IV. Science
a. Finish all panels of the comic strip. The comic strip should show the different stages of the digestive system from the time you eat food to the end. Also, notes for pages 40-41 due tomorrow.
V. Other
a. Japanese: Study #3 worksheet: Vending Machine meaning and Ro-maji.
