Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Three more days until our Fun Run! Please wear green and bring change of clothing this Thursday. These are your assignments for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read Realistic fiction book for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and record pages read.
c. Writing: if you are writing an essay on Furlough Fridays, read "Cookies for Crumbs" and "Lingle, BOE Spar over Stalled Furlough Plan." If you are writing an essay on Fireworks, read "Bills Seek Fireworks Limits." Take notes on your Cornell note taking sheets, write down questions and summary. Label it Article #3. Include source information -- name of newspaper, date and page articles occurs on.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. -- no homework.
b. Mrs. K: page 108 (all), page 109 #1-9, TB page 447 #7-15 (Odds)and worksheet "Finish the Pictures."

III. Other
a. Test folder: record exams and have parents sign your folder. Due Wednesday.
b. Japanese: study for Quiz #19.
c. Finish: Board of Water Supply Sudoku handout. Due tomorrow.
