Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Please study for tomorrow's Reading and Japanese exam. These are your assignments for today:

I. Language Arts
a. Read Non-fiction book for 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Wordly Wise: complete 12C & D. Write and describe words #8-15.
c. Reading: after hearing today's group presentations, review and make corrections to your Explicit and Implied Lesson 2 -- "The present" handout. Make sure your statements are either explicit or implied. Review your S-E-E statement. It should show an example of 1 explicit and 1 implied statements. Study for tomorrow's exam.

II. Math
a. Mrs D.C.: 1) Make corrections to yesterday's homework -- worksheet page 94. 2) Complete today's worksheet page 95 --- #2-10. For problems #11-16 show all calculations and make a model.
*Kayce, Gabi, and Kathleen -- study for tomorrows Retest on Addition and Subtraction of Fractions.
b. Mrs. K: textbook page 367 #9-18 (all), make test corrections on folder paper and get test signed.

III. Social Studies
a. Finish reading Slavery in the Colonies handout. Complete notes on Part IA -- 3 column chart on indentured servants, enslaved people and similarities. Due tomorrow.

IV. Japanese
a. Japanese: study for Quiz #12. 1) Finish handout: classroom action. 2) Study the meaning for all 16 words. 3) Worksheet (page 1 and 2).

*Pink slips: if you received one, complete the work and get slip signed.

Do we have to make corrections to or Present handout even if you didn't correct it?

Hi Chika!
Look over what you have written for the explicit and implied information and your S-E-E response. Make sure that it is accurate based upon what you heard today during our group presentations. Make any necessary changes.
