Sorry that I was not able to respond to your blog questions this weekend. I have answered them on yesterday's blog page.
Begin collecting pledges for the Reach for Books contest. We received 3 pledges today. 27 more to go to reach our goal! Make sure you complete the orange sheets and have you and your parents sign the bottom of the page.
These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Reading record: read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Literature Sharing: read aloud to parents this weekend. Have them write comments on the bottom of page 25.
c. Wordly Wise: complete 11A & 11B. Write and describe words #1-7.
d. Kid Biz: read 2 news articles and complete 5 steps. Record first score in your Kid Biz folder and on our class chart.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: complete multiplying fractions worksheet RW94 #1-10. Show all work and write answer in simplest form. Also, draw the model for problems #1-4 on back side of paper.
b. Mrs. K: Finish other person's stain glass worksheet. Complete workbook page 81 -- show work on folder paper.
III. Science
a. Cartoon character due tomorrow.
IV. Other
a. Japanese: study for Quiz #12. 1) Finish handout: classroom action. 2) Study the meaning for all 16 words. 3) Worksheet (page 1 and 2).
b. pink slips: if you received one today, please get form signed and complete the work.

For your pink slip, what do you mean that you numbered 1 or 2 wrong? What assignment are you referring to? Make sure that you have finished your assignment and get the pink slip signed.
