Congratulations World Series Champs -- the New York Yankees! I hope some of you watched game 6 today. :)
Please finish your lead and identification of the colonies on your Social Studies study guide. Also, review for tomorrow's Japanese test (rescheduled from today). These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes of non-fiction book and record pages read.
b. Reading Strategies: finish backside of Explicit and Implied worksheet. Write the S-E-E. For evidence, describe what you see in the picture. (You do not have page numbers or quotes)
c. Bare book: 2 cover drafts due tomorrow. Final colored pictures on actual bare book due Monday.
d. Project Runway: Tribe 1 will perform tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C. complete 3 "Uncover" questions.
b. Mrs. K: a) Workbook page 78 #7-17 (odds) and page 80 #17-22 (all). b) redo (make corrections) to Raquel's worksheet if you received you paper back today.
III. Social Studies
a. Finish lead and identification of colonies. Color colonies. Due tomorrow.
IV. Science
a. write questions for other groups and predict percentages. Due tomorrow.
V. Other
a. Japanese: study for tomorrow's exam and finish classroom worksheet.

Dear Mrs Dela Cruz,
I don't seem to understand the S-E-E stance for the Reading Strategies worksheet because I already wrote the implied info. and on the S-E-E it says "After looking at Picture B, what info. was implied?" Isn't that the same thing as 4.a.?

In the lead, look at the criteria sheet. You should share: reasons why the colonists came to America, what they had to do when they arrived and briefly describe why the people in New England, Middle and Southern Colonies decided on specializing and manufacturing different types of goods and services based upon the landform, resources and climate. The topic sentence should be the last sentence in the lead.
